Combating the Codex Alimentarius

Codex Alimentarius - Marilyn Vine asks:

Do you know what or who this organization is?

It is an organization that we should all know about. It is an organization that has been in existence since the 1960’s and its aim has been to undermine the health of the people of the world by bringing in such restrictive legislation that individuals like you and me cannot make our own personal decisions as to whether we would like to take dietary supplementation to offset the lack of vitamins and minerals in our food and in the past few years have gone even further and won’t allow food growers to promote the healthful aspects of any of our foods. Why would they do this? I believe that if you were “educated” and knew what your body required in the way of nutrition that you would make sure that you ate this food or took that particular mineral or vitamin.

Did you know that unless your body has the right mineral to act as a catalyst for a particular vitamin, you might as well not waste your time or money taking the vitamin! Most people concentrate on the vitamin side of their diets oblivious to the fact that the mineral is the basic requirement of your health.

36th Session held in Bali November 2014

GreenMedia on 12 January 2015 brings some good news on Codex Alimentarius.   Here is an excerpt:

Angelika Tritscher, the World Health Organization representative to Codex Alimentarius meetings, aptly posed a question to the Codex delegates assembled at a Food Contaminants meeting in Moscow in 2013, "How can we keep Codex relevant?" In posing this question, Dr. Tritscher quickly cut to the heart of the potential downfall of Codex. My response to Dr. Tritscher's question was, "If Codex wants to remain relevant to consumers, then it must create food standards that are truly healthy and make sense."

For more than five years now, the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU) has been working on establishing daily Nutrient Reference Values (NRVs) for essential vitamins and minerals. These NRVs would supposedly direct consumers as to healthy daily intake levels for vitamins and minerals such as Vitamins A, C, D and E, calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, and iron. But what the National Health Federation (NHF) found was that some Codex delegations led by Australia wanted to reduce virtually all of the recommended daily intake levels by significant percentages. The proposal for Vitamin C, for example, was to reduce its NRV from a miserable intake level of 60 milligrams per day down to an even more ridiculous one of 45 milligrams per day! Fortunately, with the help of Iraq, India, and the then-chairman Dr. Rolf Grossklaus, NHF was able to stop all advances in that direction at the 2009 committee meeting.

Since 2009, the Committee's work on NRVs has proceeded at a snail's pace year by year. However, at this year's meeting, the 36th session of the CCNFSDU, the Codex delegates advanced almost all of the so-called "Batch 2″ vitamins and minerals (Vitamin C, selenium, zinc, molybdenum, and manganese but not iron and fluoride) midway up the 8-step approval process. Meeting in Bali, Indonesia during the entire Thanksgiving week of November 2014, the Codex delegates also deliberated further refinements to the wording of the "General Principles for the Addition of Essential Nutrients to Foods" as well as the necessity of Follow-up Formula for infants.”

Healing people with vitamins or not!

My understanding of Codex Alimentarius is that this is the last thing that they wish to happen.   In fact in my opinion they go out of their way to make sure that the average Joe Blow cannot buy vitamins and minerals at a level that will maintain their health.

Now Orthomolecular Medicine is providing ample evidence of what I term “stupidity” that is taking place around the world and which we seem to be powerless to stop UNLESS enough people get jack of these so called health groups (Codex Alimentarius) supposedly looking after our welfare and take control back of our own lives.  There are many people who won’t care about this BUT THERE ARE EVEN MORE WHO DO CARE AND WHO DO WISH TO LEAD HEALTHY LIVES.   Please take the time to read Andrew Saul’s article dated 21 November 2014    In the meantime take a look at this example:

  • A 15-pound wild monkey takes in about 600 mg of vitamin C a day from its food. [Milton, 1999: ]
  • An average human being weighs 180 pounds. That is the weight of twelve monkeys; twelve monkeys would get 7,200 mg.
  • But the US RDA for vitamin C for a human is 90 mg/day for adult males; only 75 mg/day for adult females.
  • That means that your vitamin C RDA is just over 1% that of a monkey. Monkeys get 90 times more vitamin C than the government says people need.”

Codex Aliminentarius and contaminated Infant Formula

Green Media on 5 November 2014 brings a rather disturbing article.   The following are excerpts and it is recommended that the full article be read to understand what is unfolding.

“Sadly, fluoride is up for consideration to receive an NRV. Most likely, it will not receive an NRV in this Codex committee; but Fluoride will be reviewed for assignment of an NRV for Non-Communicable Diseases by a Working Group that the United States is working on. NHF will continue to follow this issue as our documented position has always been that Fluoride is toxic at any of the levels and for any of the purposes being considered by Codex.

As an accredited INGO at Codex, NHF participates in the electronic Working Group (eWG) for special dietary foods like infant and follow-up formula (FUF). FUF is designed for children from 6-36 months when transitioning from breast milk to a regular diet. Codex is concerned with wasting and malnutrition and these formulations are supposed to prevent both. Others have expressed the opinion, also noted in the Codex record, that FUF is primarily related to creating a market for a product targeting a certain demographic and that it is unnecessary. NHF agrees.

During the call, NHF made the comment, noted in the record, that NHF does not only feel that follow-up formula is unnecessary but that it is actually harmful, as the first ingredients listed are GMO ingredients such as corn, corn syrup, corn maltodextrin, and soy and/or soybean oil depending upon whether the FUF is milk-based or soy-based.  Of course there are other problems with FUF, but today's focus was on GMO and the fact it is not needed and is actually harmful.”

Click this link to read the full article and also see the ingredients in the Nestle® version of FUF.  I was upset to see that it contained just these first few ingredients:

  • Skim milk powder
  • Corn syrup
  • Corn maltodextrin
  • Palmolein
  • Soybean Oil

The reading I have done on skim milk powder is that it stands every chance of being rancid.  The corn products – so much information on the impact of GMO corn products – Palmolein I know nothing about – soy or soy products I would not touch with a barge pole let alone give it to my baby!

Celebrating their 50th Anniversary in 2013

On 15 July 2013 we hear that Codex Alimentarius celebrates its 50th Anniversary.

How do they celebrate?    Well what else of course!

Please take the time to read what they are up to now.   So many essential nutrients have had their daily intake requirement downgraded.

One very important vitamin, Vitamin D, has been downgraded by FIFTY PERCENT!

Because of the very successful campaigns that have been run world-wide by governmental and world health organisations with regards to cancer and the need to use sunscreens to avoid the sun, we now have a world of people deficient in Vitamin D!   If you don’t understand the importance of just this vitamin alone then click this link to learn more

If you read the article below you will see a nutritional therapist’s comments on the methylation factors and then if you read the latest attack you will see that the B Vitamins have also had a further reduction!

If each year they keep on reducing the daily required amounts – eventually we will be told that our bodies don’t need any nutritional assistance whatsoever!

Further down the page you will read “Dr Gregory Damato, PhD in an article published as long ago as October-November 2008, Vol 15, No 6 Nexus Magazine said “Billions of people will suffer from degenerative diseases due to poor nutrition and limited access to health supplements if the powerful global corporations behind the new Codex Alimentarius standards are allowed to “harmonise” the world.”

Nothing has changed!   It is just getting worse.

Important Update
Results of Codex Aliminetarius Meetings 2012
Bad Soden, Germany

Please find update information on the meeting held in Bad Soden, Germany in the first week of December 2013.

Here is an excerpt from a nutritional therapist’s standpoint:

”… several of the nutrients that were placed on Codex’s sacrificial altar were methylation factors. B6, B12, Folic Acid…If we don’t methylate well, we can develop opportunistic diseases. Cancer…heart attack that occurs when Homocysteine elevates…Some, like calcium, which Codex wished to elevate out of proportion to stabilizing magnesium, and when taken out of balance, creates disease as well by mineralizing in soft tissue like blood vessels instead of the bone and teeth. So, at this point I’m thinking, “Is Codex out to kill us?”

That is a very good question and I believe that the answer is probably “yes”!

So many of the final decisions made by Codex equal ill health for the World. It means both Big Pharma and the so-called “health” care system profits, while we grow ill and die. It is no secret that depopulation is one aspect of the World’s agenda. “Dr. Henry Kissinger himself wrote: “Depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.” Apparently America is the new ‘third World.’

If you wish to keep your health and the health of your children then these are must read articles.

1994 Requirement

Netherlands 14 December 2012

On 27 November 2012 Prevent Disease brings us an article on what is to occur in the Netherlands on 14 December 2012. They also explain that Codex Alimentarius (commonly just referred to as Codex) is:

”a subsidiary body of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and the World Health Organization (WHO). Codex develops international food safety and quality standards, such as standards concerning the safety of food additives. Standards set by Codex traditionally served as a minimum floor for less developed countries. It has over 170 member countries within the framework including the EU and US which have participated in Codex for decades.”

So many people believe that the United Nations and the World Health Organization are such wonderful international bodies and do so much good.   All I can do is urge you to take the blinkers off and really have a look at what they do.    Maybe you would like to do a google search on “United Nations + Agenda 21” and seek out their legislation in this regard.   In the meantime see what they are up to on 14 December 2012.

Billions of people will suffer from degenerative diseases.

Billions of people will suffer from degenerative diseases due to poor nutrition and limited access to health supplements if the powerful global corporations behind the new Codex Alimentarius standards are allowed to “harmonise” the world.

Dr Gregory Damato, PhD has given Marilyn Vine permission to print his entire article that was published in Nexus Magazine, October-November 2008, Vol 15, No 6.

The information contained in this article is so appalling that Marilyn Vine felt compelled to write to Greg and put this article out to as many people around the world as she was able to.    PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS ARTICLE – YOUR LIFE COULD DEPEND ON IT!   Currently only a handful of people world-wide know anything about Codex Alimentarius.   Marilyn has been following Codex Alimentarius since 1998 when she first became aware of the European Union’s involvement.

Greg’s article contains information:

  • History of Codex
  • Codex irregularities
  • Health freedom threats
  • Population control agenda
  • Battle over GMO labelling

At the end of the article advice is given by Greg as to whom you can contact in your part of the world to protest about the intentions of world governments.

Take Action against Codex Alimentarius

The only way to avoid the death-for profit agenda is to fight back by disseminating knowledge to everyone you know.

It does not matter whether they are still asleep or hypnotised by the enslavement of daily life or too busy to pay attention: the time to wake up is now.

The US government and the collaborating media have been trying to distract the world while all these egregious and mandatory standards are covertly passed.

It is time to take action, and you can do so by going to the website of the Natural Solutions Foundation and following the latest updates on Codex.

It is very important that swift and vociferous action be taken now.  Times are changing very rapidly, and unless we all come together on this issue we may have to start thinking about growing our own food in the near future to avoid calculated extermination.

Contacts for action against Codex Alimentarius
