I can remember going into my local supermarket late 2008 and standing at the shelf containing shampoos and conditioners. I could not find one shampoo on the shelf that did not contain sodium lauryl sulfate! When I started to learn about these chemicals and what harm they could do and that many of them were systemic, i.e. passed through the skin and into the various organs of the body, I started reading all the labels on everything I was purchasing. Including food! My first grandson was born in July 1995 in New Zealand and when I visited the family in 1997 I spoke with my daughter in law about what I had learned with regard to harmful ingredients. We went and checked all the baby products that she was using like shampoos and were stunned to find that these so called “safe” baby products manufactured by a well known Baby Product manufacturer contained many of these harmful ingredients. My daughter in law said “what should I do?” My response “”if he was my baby they would all go in the bin! She said “do it!
