When used in shampoo and conditioners or other hair products and has been rinsed off it is known, over time, to strip the hair of acids, amino acids and moisture. I believe that other manufacturers use this ingredient combined with salt as it makes a wonderful lather and when this occurs people think they have a good shampoo! Sometimes less lather is better! When we have children, particularly kindergarten and school age, we come into contact from time to time with lice or as they are commonly referred to – nits.
